Finally a blog post that I m proud of…

Yes, it’s been such a long time since I actually I post something
on my blog that I actually love the pictures… Not that I don’t
like my other blog posts, it just I have a pretty high expectations
of my blog posts, I guess i had been posting ALL average standard
blog posts/ advertorials…. This is kinda upset myself, I Rmb a
time everytime when I visit my own blog I actually felt very proud
of my baby blog. Lol.

Anyhow, I LOVE THIS BLOG POST!!! It was taken in Korea 2 months ago,
I explore many new things in this set of photo, this is my first
photography project in Korea, previously was done for fun and nothing
serious, more like hangout and snap, this is also my first time
working with a photographer from a foreign land!! Also… MY FIRST
TIME trying out film photography as a model!! Personally I always
always film photography very fascinating, as I’ve never tried before,
many of the film photographers always produce filtered photos that is
almost impossible to archive with photoshop! I will talk about the
photographer that I worked with later part of the blog post!

This blog post consisted of photos taken with Alice’s Contax Film
Camera, as well as my Canon 60D, to let you guys have a clearer
view of the difference between a digital DSLR photography photo
quality and a film camera photography photo quality, under every
single photo in this blog post, there’s a indication of which
camera is it taken by!

This blog post also featuring one of the coolest gadget I’ve ever
owned!!! The Lenovo YOGA 900!!! Okay where do I begin… It just
have TOO much awesome features.

Here’s some background info on my Windows PC obsession. I’ve been a
Windows user for the past-ever (okay I just made that word up, it
supposedly means forever in the past, lol) yes past-ever and ever!
My 1st PC/laptop was Windows, and all the way until last year, I
got my 1st MacBook, after months of trying to get use to it, I
told myself… I REALLY need a Windows laptop AGAIN. I NEED.

so used to able to play all the kill time PC games,

so used to the China softwares that I stream shows on

And so used to photo editing programs that only works on PC.

I M SO GLAD TO GET MY HANDS BACK ON A WINDOWS LAPTOP!!

It’s a multifunctional laptop, the thinnest convertible laptop!
Only 14.9mm… And ONLY 1.29 gram!!! Insanely light!! No, this
YOGA 900 Is quiet, light and thin, but this sleek package DOES
NOT compensate on the performance!! It is integrated with the new
6th Gen Intel® Core™ processors, my edition comes with 8GB ram
memory, it is SUPER high speed, making play games at ultra finest,
literally when I load The Sims 4 at ZERO loading time. Lol,
yes I play the sims. Lol.

With 512 GB storage, (i don’t really need any external hard drive)
with super long lasting battery life, up to 10 hours of video play,
tried and tested, I brought this baby to a library and start working
on some photo editing, I went around 1pm, literally until the library
is close at 9:30pm, the Yoga 900 is… STILL ALIVE!!! I don’t even
need to bring the charger!!!

And even if I do… The charge is just a long USB cable, it’s not
heavy at all… Lol.

Funny story, I remember vividly there are many times while I was
playing game I actually went to the touch my screen of my (non-touch
screen) laptop, trying to move things, when my mouse is being an u
responsive ***. I told myself, how I wish I could have a touch screen
laptop please… NOW I HAVE!!!! Lenovo YOGA 900 is full touch screen
display…! i can’t draw on my screen! I always love to doodle on my photos, 
now I could actually draw on my photos, unlike how I used to try my luck with 
doodles with… My mouse. Lol.

The light package makes working outdoors so much more convenient,
I used to drag myself to go out to work at cafes, back in those
poly days, I need to carry super bulky laptop, a laptop heat fan,
the charger, the mouse, the hard disk and no thanks. Lol. Just
carrying this baby with only a mouse that other day to get some
work done, half way getting to the cafe, I thought forget to bring
my laptop!! Becos it was so light, I didn’t even realize I was
carrying it in my backpack!!

Now I could be ALL cool, head down to the cafes and work my a**
off on photoshop, without being uncool to bring too much barang
barang (stuff/items) out.

The moment I got my hands on the YOGA 900, it was love at first touch,
I kept fanboying over it. I kept repeating “oh my god, how can it be??”

Okay enough of me showing off my new toy. This series of the Pixels
of Winter online photobook is captured as a experiment for myself,
I always always always wanted try shoot (with/by) a film camera!!
All the hipster photographers that I followed on Instagram, they
all shoot with film cameras, the results was breathtaking, somehow
the pictures, the filters just so amazing, like don’t need to
photoshop at all, I finally tried it out in Korea in March this year!

I was very lucky to meet and work with a very talented young Korean
photographer!! Alice!!! I was totally mesmerized by her photography
skills and her eye for portraits!!! I always find the Korean
photographers have a very significant style and unique eye of
beauty!!!

The moment I saw Alice’s photos, I became a fan!! Here are some of

hello, this is been in my draft since… august.

oh my god. i m such a horrendous blogger. i am trying to think why i always
do such stuff. like have a blog post which is completely ready to published
and drag it for months and didn’t let the post to see the light of the day.

this post photos are taken during my AFA Thailand trip, the 1st day! i was
alone somehow, because i was waiting to meet some friends, but they were
caught up in some working situation so i gotta spent the afternoon alone
at some super chio cafe in bangkok! so i do what i do best. camwhore till
death. lol, luckily it was a monday, during working hours, the cafe wasn’t
packed.

okay, i actually wanted to blog the 3 parts in reverse sequence as it will
be in perfect sequence when i blog these 3 blog in a roll.

i also conveniently shoot a little product photos for THEN collection from
the nut case, it was only 2nd collection, i m already shopping for 6th
collection now, lolololol, but still the watermelon, gameboy and vitasoy
case are still super popular.

this blog post is pretty boring if you are not a fan of my selfies, lol,
not much content. i m pretty sure people who come to blog to expect selfies,
it will be weird if one day i stop posting selfies, it might mean i got
really fat and unselfieable, even if that happens i might still able post
updates for a long time, because my backlog photos are wayyyyyyyy too much.

in 2015, i travelled a bit, not much. i been to Indonesia, Penang, Bangkok,
Perth, Korea and Taiwan, but i only manage to blog about this bangkok trip,
eh, i travelled a bit in 2014 and 2013 too but, i actually didn’t blog about
them… AT ALL!! well, i took some really pretty pics in korea and perth, i
think i might start on that two up next!

Sadly even since 2011, i never been in a situation where i don’t have any
backlog blog posts, always try to clear them, they just keep pilling up, i
haven’t even blog about me venice and rome trip which is in 2011!!! lol.

i really think i could have been a much much more better blogger if i m more
efficient and hardworking, i think i m not even at my 30% potential, imagine
if i could be 100%…. i think i could be much better than who i am today.

okay enough rubbish talk, till next blog post! i have to clear this post.

met up my AFA managers at night for movie! time really flies, when 1st met
them both was i was only 22… eh, i tot i was quite old when i WAS 22, now i
m 27, i felt like a grandpa. lol. things are so funny, i never ever expect to
be friends with them both, as i always pretty scared to mingle with people
are in higher position in work place, but turns out, we 3 could get along
just well, and we 3 all share similar taste in things (mostly) and people.
LOL. endless things to talk when i m with them!
