HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MYSELF! Lol. Omg I m 27…
HTF I got to this age.. I don’t even know. Lol. I already
2 years passed my mid 20s, and I m still acting cute lol,
okay la, give me a few more years, I shall do it until my
face don’t allow me to. LOL.

Been on the pretty low side and emo lately, which explains
my absences on Instagram, BUTTTTTT~~~~ not gonna
go deep into it becos, I want this blog post to be filled with
love and joy, as my birthday is ALWAYS the happiest day
of my each and every year!!
I realized that i had hosted a lot of theme parties ever since
I start giving a shit about birthday celebrations, which was
back when I was 19, I rmb I cried super badly when I was
18 when my mom forget about my birthday and didn’t do
anything for me *super needy Since young*, as one of the
sole reason why I m taking my birthday so seriously as all
of you might know that I m literally the ONLY single person
in my clique, so I always the secondary importance on my
friends priority list, but as that I don’t have a lover, my friends
obviously are my primary importance on MY priority list.
Things will magically change in that one day once in 365
days … From secondary importance, I will go a level up to
become the primary importance on 18th of May! and that’s
my birthday! Which makes me super happy!!!

So this year, my 27th birthday i listened to Yanyan’s
suggestion to hosting a Gossip Girl theme party, as months
she just finish watching it, she start on the series very late,
when it’s already not showing lol. To think about it, it’s a
terrific idea, as I always been a big fan of the TV series,
and what makes me more happy to feel younger again
on my own birthday?! LET’S DO IT!!! Lol. But in reality…
It’s been 9 years since I last wore a school uniform…
I was very pleased with this year’s photos, so I decided to
put a little more effort and blog a proper post for it, previous
years I kinda got laid back on the birthday posts, I used to
put CRAZY LOAD of effort on my birthday posts, like my
20th’s Pool Party, 21st Prom Night Party, 22nd Masquerade
Party, but it’s getting tooooooo stressful for me, as i worked
10 times harder on a day where I should be feeling happy
and stress free. So I actually stop throwing such parties, on
23th, 24th, 25th, I started producing my own photobook
instead.
This post is inspired by high school Yearbooks! I added in
more formal page arrangements like the actual year books
designs, also very very fine pen-like doodles to imitate real
doodles in actual year books. Yes, almost all the doodles
you seen in this blog post is hand drawn by my own hands,
that explains why I took so long to finish this post.
For sure, this post incomparable to my old theme birthday
blog posts, but I m wayyyyyy happier, i have a great time,
no stress and enjoy like how a birthday boy should on a
birthday. I guessed that’s more important to me now!

ULTRA LOVE. ULTRA LOVE MY BIRTHDAY CAKE. It’s a heart
shape strawberry strudel!!!! Even the strawberries on the cake
is cut into a heart shapes!! Miyake told me that a birthday boy
should not get their own birthday cakes, so I told her what I
wished for…. SHE GOT IT FOR ME!!!! It’s not only pretty,
it’s super oiishi, like at the end of the party, it was all gone…!
I rmb on my 22nd birthday party I got a strawberry tart is that
similar looking (but not as chio), cos it’s not a heart shape! It
tasted terrible and the end of the party 90% of the tart wasn’t
touched cos it was too sour… But this strudel cake was so
yummy!!!!

Haha, if you see carefully, u can see some interesting texts
on the photo, like for example this group pic, the CMC list,
I have given the class chairman title to Yanyan, cos she is
regina george, okay, in this theme party case, she is a Blair.
Lol. Qiu the treasurer, eh budget Barbie….? Then Sophie as
the class valedictorian, as she is very smart, then rikeru the
P.E. Rep, as she is the most sporty among all of us, she
does wake-boarding and Muay Thai!!!!

Here’s the girls on my party! Like I said a million times before,
I m so lucky, I always have the prettiest girls on my birthday
party! LOL. This year BFF sandy couldn’t make it to the party,
but she was THERE for my birthday, she hang with me till 4am
on 18th may!!! We had a alone celebration in town at one of
the only 24 hours cafe.. TCC. lol.
I have the rest of my favorite girls with me at the party!!
Here’s my public thank you notes to all these girls who

Sophie, our friendship is the least thing that is likely to
happen…? Like a dolphin and a cat or a horse and a monkey.
Which one in a million years that I never thought we can be
close, but WE DID!!! Lol.
You are the most ‘action speaks louder than words’ friend that
I ever had, you don’t say much but you always just do things
for me, like the time we went to Perth, you plan and organized
everything for me, whenever you see things that I will like,
you always will buy them for me, even when you get so busy
flying around the world, you still reply me at once to ease my
insecurities at 4am.
Thank you so much to putting up with my neediness and
nonesense all the time, I is love you one! Even thou I know
you are super unexpressive, but I also know you is love me
one! Lol.

How long has it been…. miya? You are the one friend who been
thru so so so much with me, we’ve made it so far, bypass
all our exes (friends) and old flames. Lol. Nobody know my
story better than you do, coming from a similar background,
I know you understand me the best. How many times we
could finish each other sentences? How many times we love
the same things and we sync like the same person?
One of the most memorable moment of our friendship, it’s
that you rush down to my house at 4am as I was having
super high fever, you drove me to hospital and watch me
getting a butt jab. Lol. How could I ever forget that…? You
are the friend who always so responsive, you can’t stand a
moment of me crying or in pain, you will always want to do
something about it to help.
Every single time when I open my mouth to tell you
something negative about my life, u will always give me a
helpful hand… for that I will be forever grateful. You’ll always
have a friend in me, I promise.

You are like the big sister that I always wished I had, always
soooooo insanely supportive, no one ever believe in me so
much like you do, you always see the goodness in me,
when I tell you that I am scared, I m lost, you will never once
tell me that I couldn’t make it, you will tell me “yutaki, you
can one.”
You never fail to open your doors for me even I tell you that
I need company, you and josh always so welcoming, always
tell me that I m welcome to join you guys on family gathering
or public holidays, you took me in like a family member.
There’s once you were at my house, I told you something
very sad about myself, i was so touched that you hugged
me and told me everything is gonna be okay. It really meant
so so so much to me, that was something I need the most.
Thank you for taking care of my emotions all the time, there’s
no one else could be a better listener than you. I is love you
one Qiu!

We pulled each other together like magnets! No matter how
long I not see you, our chemistry will always be the same!
Which is magic!!! Always so sweet and helpful, how could
I ever ask for even more awesome friend than you?
Thank you for being always so generous with me, I could
always count on you that’s for sure, I know if one day I ever
need you, you always be there without fail.
Time passed so fast since our 1st Japan trip, we bond so
intensively and quickly after then, you re the one friend who
always hope to keep and please please let us grow deeper!

Last but not least the tough love, Yanyan! Always the biggest
mentor of my life, never once stingy with your guidance, always
sharing with me how to get things done. Helping me in every
single way, from work, blogging, how-to-handle tips and even
relationship advises.
I still rmb clearly once you Dial me up just to check up on me
when I posted insecure and negatived on Instagram, patiently
explaining to me why am I shouldn’t be feeling so sensitive,
telling me everything is fine, I was just thinking too much. U
always there for me when I expected the least of you, you
organize outing for me last year’s birthday, because you knew
I will be alone, you came to my house in the middle of the
night when i was dumped, and accompany me till morning…
All these things you did for me, I will never forget them, and
deep down I know you is really love me one!
Not only you open yourself to me, you also open your family
to me, yipmomo always such a dear to me, even send me
texts of encouragements when I m in my super broken state,

After reading my public thank you notes to my girls…. how
awesome are my girls!!? This is also the reason why I will
always stand up for them, fight for them, take their war as own.
A lot of time even risk being hated, but why the fuck I care
when it’s from total strangers? When I m protecting these
friends that I could die for. There ain’t much people in my life
that I could go that extra mile or fight for, these are the ones
that I will anything for.

My hotel for this GG theme party is the PARKROYAL on Pickering!
They are one of the newest hotel in the PARKROYAL collection
hotel! It’s simply gorgeous and stunning, in soooo many
ways. Its covered in greens, and the main element of their hotel
design is wood! The nick name is actually the hotel in a garden!

In my VERY honest opinion… with all my experiences with so
many boutique hotels in sg… This PARKROYAL on Pickering hotel is
the best… I swear. The front desk receptionist was super polite
and warm, I had a number of requests during my stay and party.
They are able to accommodate and fix them ALL… YES ALL.
I never been to a hotel that their customer service is THIS GOOD.

PARKROYAL on Pickering sponsored me the junior suite room
that is big enough to cater all of us! Yanyan actually brought
dash over in the afternoon to play at the hotel’s very unique
infinity pool, there are actually “bird cages”-like designed resting
areas! That Wendy was saying its looks scary breathtaking,
as it looks like hanging at the edge of the pool! It’s such a
innovative and astonishing design! And yes, dash had a fun
time playing at the pool!
I personally very in love with room design, it’s very modern,
nature theme, I love wooden furnitures, it’s my 2nd fav element
right below the red, blue and white elements. The junior suite
have a private living room, a bath tub (!!!) and a breathtaking
night view!
I’ve also had lunch at the hotel… Their chicken rice was super
yummy! Super wanna go back again!

And these girls bought me a new camera!!!! Just a few blog
posts ago, I briefly mentioned that I love Miyake’s semi pro
camera, Olympus EPL-7… Miya, Qiu, Soap and Yanyan
BOUGHT IT FOR ME !!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so freaking happy la! I really
super love it one, it’s giving me more reasons to camwhore
more and blog more!
The BFF bought me a vivienne westwood wallet of my fav
color!! Super love that blue color, now that I have this, it actually
matches with everything else I own, Cos I love all things blue,
red and white.
And all the sweet stuff this rikeru bought me, I will make full
use of them when I m in Bali this end of month! The waterproof
camera, the super cute beach wears!! Love them loads!!
And customized name banner…. Is just so me.. I have a thing
for name customized stuff!! Qiu knows me the best! Super love it!!!!
The the named customized coke was send in by Cocacola
Singapore, I was in BKK when they sent it to me, but when I
m back to SG just in time for my bday! Thank you Cocacola
Singapore!!! Love it!

I m thankful for everything in this post the presents, the
sponsors, and most most importantly the friends! How on
earth I live without them….
Also you guys…. A lot of you that I never met in person before,
but you guys never fail to wish me on my social media platforms,
like Instagram, twitter, Facebook and email. I felt I made friends
with all of you, you care so much about me, even sent me
emails to cheer me up after reading my emo posts… Thank you
guys so much, I think the best way to thank you guys is to keep

Going to Penang tomorrow.. To attend a wedding… I have
another blog adv to finish before I leave. Why do I always LOVE
to pile up my work to last min??? Hate myself for this…
With the new camera, I felt very inspired to start blogging again.
Yes I know I been abandoning my blog even longer than my
Instagram… I m thinking of contents to start writing and posting
again.
I had been taking a very long break. This is my 7th month not
working and also 6th month not having actively earning from
social media too.. Rmb from my last year end’s posts I was
complaining how busy I was and I wish I could have a lonnnnngggg
break? Yes I indeed I had a long one. Lol. Why my life had to
be so extreme? When I was busy, I busy till death and couldn’t
even breathe, when I m free, I m free to death. Lol. Couldn’t
there be a balance? Like 50% busy, 50% free?
Okay, shall make full use of our trip with Penang with Miyake,
been super long since I travel with my camhoe buddy,
CAMHOE SPAM TIME. The airfare is a bit beyond our expectationly
expensive, so must snap back the money!!! Lol.
